Science Everywhere

On Thursday 5th of March we spent the day working like scientists investigating variation in organisms, identifying differences and classifying. Together with the P6 children from All Children's Primary we learnt how all organisms have their own unique DNA. Just as scientists in a laboratory would we extracted the DNA from strawberries using washing up liquid and salt! We worked like forensic scientists at a crime scene and classified our own fingerprints into loops, whorls and arches.
