Primary 4 to 7 First Days Back

Primary 4 to 7 First Days Back

Monday 22nd March marked the reopening of our school to all the girls and boys in Primaries 4 through to 7. Where previously only the vulnerable and children of Key Workers could attend, all our pupils returned to 'Face to Face' lessons alongside their friends and classmates in their own classrooms.

Pupils and parents were rightly apprehensive as it had been three months since last rooms were filled. But after a only a few minutes the children seemed to relax when they saw someone they knew and ran off to play whilst the adults found comfort in sharing their anxieties and worries with each other. Relationships continued where they had left off for everyone. That feeling of nervousness was not the sole right to one group or another.

Hopefully today was a good start as the process builds up gradually and everyone gets reaccustomed to being back in school. This may take some time, but please be patient.

Should you wish to speak to your son's / daughter's teacher about an issues or problems please contact your child's teacher via the office number.
